Tufted Hairgrass / Deschampsia

Deschampsia cespitosa 'Gold Dew'

Expectations:
Keep moist, likes shade. This is a more compact form of tufted hair grass, suitable, I hope for a big pot.

Experiences:
I put this in a terra-cotta pot in the corner by the garage and fence, behind the sumacs. Something interesting to fill that corner that can take shade, and this fluffy grass can grow in shade. It has a low mounding habit.

You see tufted hairgrass grown in masses, but I hope a single specimen in a pot in the corner will look good.

So far in its first years it is dark green but hasn't established any presence yet or flowered.
